Regional Account Manager Advanced Windows

Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and growth strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth for our Advanced Windows solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across Europe, serving as their trusted advisor for all business needs
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer manufacturing and manufacturing requirements. Advocate for their needs and articulate an advantaged whole solution offering in collaboration with AW commercial technology manager.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets by identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and drive adoption of new solutions.
- Provide product demonstrations, and sales presentations to customers.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their goals, challenges, and requirements, ensuring alignment with our Advanced Windows business offerings.
- Act as the commercial resource for customers, providing detailed application support for Advanced Windows solutions.
- Partner with clients to assess their requirements and recommend tailored solutions to optimize performance and functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution, coordinating with internal teams.
- Develop detailed proposals and presentations for customers, showcasing the value of our Advanced Windows products.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in the European region.
- Work closely with internal teams, including commercial technology, product line management, marketing, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
- Deliver regular reports and insights to regional Business Director and Corning International leadership.
Our requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering, finance or business administration.
- Proven experience in account management and technical application support.
- At least 5 years´ experience in the European window glass industry and its indirect and direct sales channels.
- Strong understanding of windows technology, applications, and industry standards in Europe.
- Ability to bridge technical expertise with business strategy to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Fluent in English; German or French language
- The candidate must be comfortable juggling numerous clients, on- and off-site meetings, and deadlines. You will need to be highly organized and equipped to manage many parts of the job and keep client proposals and other tasks on track.
- The candidate must understand how to prioritize their time. Individuals must be comfortable managing a calendar and adjusting their schedule as needed to ensure flexibility meets needs of internal and external customers.
- The candidate will be able to use multiple systems to keep track of various leads, therefore a good understanding of technical and computer skills (Microsoft Office packages, Power BI and Project Management tools) is required for the role. This will also allow and create market data for making decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate in complex organizations aligning / collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Be self-motivated, enjoys driving change, growth and likes working independently.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with teams, as well as possessing the ability to influence others.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills – able to frame a problem (simplify) and propose solutions (strategy) and actions (execution plans).
- This will form at least 50% of the individuals time across the region

Role Purpose:
- Through our Advanced Windows business, we are driving innovation in the windows industry, delivering cutting-edge products that transform buildings and enhance sustainability. As the Regional Account Manager for ATG, you will play a key role in shaping the success of our business in Europe while advancing your career in a supportive and forward-thinking organization.
- In this role, the candidate will be responsible for driving business growth of our Advanced Windows business as part of the Corning International EMEA organization. The candidate will develop a network of contacts to maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as attracting new clients. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales accounts, researching new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income for the EMEA region for the Advanced Windows business utilizing Corning’s Enlighten™ glass. The candidate as well will act as the first level application support for our European customers.
