Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for a Record to Report Process Expert – Lease Accounting & Fixed Assets to join our international, fast‑paced RTR team.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements by managing fixed assets, overseeing lease accounting under IFRS 16, and supporting period‑end processes. What You Will Be Doing

Lease & fixed assets ownership

  • Managing end‑to‑end lease accounting activities under IFRS 16, including creation of new lease contracts and processing modifications.
  • Overseeing fixed asset processes across the full lifecycle: asset creation, assets under construction, depreciation posting, and related activities.
  • Monitoring and reconciling fixed asset and lease balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate period‑end reporting.

Closing & Reporting Responsibilities

  • Executing daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc RTR tasks in line with the PDO team schedule.
  • Performing period‑end closing activities according to group timelines.
  • Preparing supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

Collaboration & problem solving

  • Acting as the first point of contact for complex queries within the RTR area.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the organization to resolve discrepancies and improve process clarity.
  • Providing support to the Team Lead and mentoring less experienced team members.

Process ownership & improvement

  • Maintaining and updating process documentation (DTPs, process maps).
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance existing processes.
  • Ensuring ongoing adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, and operational standards.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in general ledger accounting, including hands‑on experience in lease accounting (IFRS 16 / ASC 842).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and RTR processes.
  • Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in SAP Finance; experience with lease accounting tools (Nakisa, CoStar, Tango).
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel; experience with Blackline is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under time pressure.
  • A collaborative team player who takes ownership and contributes to continuous improvement.
