Responsibilities

• Accounting operations in general ledger area in accordance with US GAAP SOX controls
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliation process
• Review of select general ledger accounts for errors, omissions or inconsistencies
• Interpret and analyze of reports on a regular basis as outlined by management
• Preparation and posting of journal entries
• Assist in preparing and updating desktop procedures
• Support internal and external audit
• Recommendation and implementation of existing management functions

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of finance experience in general ledger area or professional qualification education
• Financial accounting knowledge (University level)
• Very good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formula and query level)
• Strong analytical skills (able to work on complex accounts and large volume of data)
• Very good command of English, spoken and written plus basic presentation skills
• Self-starter and self-learner attitude
• Independent, flexible when milestone deadlines are at risk
• Shared service experience is a plus
• Oracle ERP system experience is a plus
