Rare Diseases Key Account Manager - Nephrology & Hematology (wielkopolskie, pomorskie, kujawsko-pomorskie i warmińsko-mazurskie) at AstraZeneca
In this full‑time role you will generate clinical demand for our rare disease medicines, identify new patient opportunities and develop relationships with healthcare professionals, key externals and other stakeholders to deliver life‑changing medicines.
What you will do
- Engage HCPs in dialogue to promote the value proposition and benefits of rare disease medicines, using balanced science‑driven messages and appropriate tools.
- Maintain long‑term collaborative relationships with HCPs and other stakeholders, keeping patients’ needs at the centre of all conversations.
- Organise workshops and educational events to facilitate knowledge sharing among relevant HCPs.
- Work with the National Sales Manager and/or Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategies that meet promotional objectives.
- Manage the allocated budget and share insights to strengthen brand positioning and access to treatment.
- Ensure rare disease products are optimally utilised in line with national/local guidelines and the product licence.
- Demonstrate business ethics, respect company values and comply with the Code of Conduct and all local laws and policies.
- Perform other duties within the position’s scope as assigned by the Line Manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- University degree, preferably in Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc.
- Passion for science and a commitment to making a positive impact; curiosity and learning agility.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to engage key stakeholders, including mid and senior level specialty care professionals.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Collaborative and inclusive approach.
- High ethical standards.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in Hematology, Nephrology and/or Rare disease area is an asset.
