Currently we are looking for a Rare Diseases Key Account Manager to join our Commercial Team in Poland. The Key Account Manager is a full-time position, responsible for generating clinical demand for our brands in key accounts, pro-actively identifying business opportunities and recommending solutions to drive and develop business.
Designated voivodeships: Wielkopolskie, Lubuskie, Zachodnio-pomorskie, Pomorskie, Kujawsko-pomorskie.
What you will do:
The Key Account Manager will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Business Unit Director, and National Sales Manager to deploy and adapt the AZ account management strategy to the local market, including tactics and execution.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for generating clinical demand for Rare Disease medicines with healthcare professionals (HCP), pro-actively identifying new patient targets, presenting value propositions, and recommending patient-centric solutions. In doing so, the Key Account Manager will develop strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with HCPs, Key External Experts (KEE), and other stakeholders, based on a deep scientific understanding of rare diseases and therapeutic solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engages HCPs in dialogue to promote the knowledge about rare disease medicines, benefits of approved indications, product efficacy/safety profiles, and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Establishes and maintains long-term collaborative relationships with relevant HCPs and other stakeholders, keeping patients’ needs at the center of all conversations.
- Organizes workshops and other educational events to facilitate knowledge sharing among relevant HCPs.
- Works with National Sales Manager and/or Marketing Manager to develop and implement a strategy to meet promotional objectives.
- Manages allocated budget.
- Shares insights and information to strengthen brand positioning and access to treatment.
- Ensures rare disease products are optimally utilized in line with national/local guidelines and the product license.
- Demonstrates business ethics and ensures compliance with company values, local laws, policies, and marketing procedures.
- Other duties within position’s scope, as assigned by Line Manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- University degree, preferably in Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc.
- Passion for science and commitment to make a positive personal impact.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to engage key stakeholders in complex clinical environments.
- Proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Collaborative and inclusive with high ethical standards.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in Metabolic and/or Rare disease area would be an asset.
