R&D Specialist - mRNA Synthesis Scientist

• MSc in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or related sciences with 3 years of professional experience; or PhD in above mentioned scientific fields. Industry experience is highly preferred
• Upstream and downstream mRNA process development knowledge
• Extensive knowledge and experience in molecular biology, specifically involving mRNA and molecular cloning, is required
• Experience with gene therapy products and/or mRNA vaccines is a plus
• Good understanding of mRNA biology and mRNA synthesis
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, CDMO, or cGMP environment preferred
• Good understanding of mRNA therapeutic area
• Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong scientific skills including sound experimental design, data processing and interpretation
• Self-motivator with an ability to lead the project
