We are currently recruiting for an R&D Packaging Leader position for an FMCG company located in Wróblowice. Hybrid work (one day of home office per week)

Your responsibilities

• Lead packaging innovation projects from ideation to launch, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, production, and quality teams throughout the development process.
• Analyze market trends and consumer insights to create standout packaging solutions.
• Implement sustainable packaging practices in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Work closely with suppliers and external partners to source innovative packaging materials and technologies.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party service providers, ensuring service quality and cost control.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing new tools and owning in-house prototyping and packaging technologies.
• Ensure all packaging solutions meet internal and industry quality standards.
• Manage and optimize the packaging innovation budget.

Our requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and sustainability practices.
• Proven experience in managing projects and supplier relationships.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Language: Fluent in English (C1 level)
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
