R&D Laboratory Specialist

Term: Up to 33-Month Contract (FTC)

About the Role:

Are you an analytical and detail-oriented laboratory professional? Our client is seeking two R&D Laboratory Specialists to support product portfolio maintenance, conduct laboratory testing, and participate in industrial trials within a regulated GMP/GLP environment. This role involves formulation of samples, ensuring compliance with production tests, and preparing essential documentation to drive product quality and innovation.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience:

• Laboratory experience preferred, ideally within GMP/GLP standards.
• Familiarity with household chemical product testing and raw materials analysis.
• Participation or supervision experience in industrial trials is advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving approach with pragmatic decision-making.
• Good command of English for clear communication and reporting.
• Ability to handle routine laboratory tasks, including calibration and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree, final year, or graduate in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product portfolio maintenance and production transfer initiatives.
• Conduct regulated laboratory testing of chemical products and raw materials.
• Formulate samples for stability and product efficiency assessments.
• Participate in and oversee industrial trials, ensuring compliance with Industrial Trial Requests (ITR).
• Update and prepare documentation such as stability test reports and industrial trial reports.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks, including calibration of measurement devices.
