We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Full Stack background. A person that will help pave the way for our digital IoT platform and guide our other developers towards best practices.

Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works, and industries do business. We constantly push the limits of convention while retaining our focus on delivering quality products and solutions to our customers.

You will be working in an agile team setup in a global environment, with colleagues in Poland cooperating with teams in Sweden and India. You will report to the local department but also to the global R&D functions for digital solutions in HVDC.

The team is working in an agile way where all team members are expected to contribute their knowledge and experiences to achieve the common goals for the development of the products. This means that the team is doing breakdown of activities together, collaborating within the team as well as seeking collaboration with other relevant teams in (and sometimes outside) the HVDC organization.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain software systems that support the analytics functions of our asset monitoring solutions.
2. Implement software solutions that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
3. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
4. Investigate and resolve software defects and issues.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies.
6. Collaborate with product owners, project managers, domain experts, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize software features and requirements.
7. Work in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology.
8. Share your knowledge and experience with other team members.

Your Background:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equivalent field of study.
2. 5+ years of experience in software development.
3. Good knowledge of C#.
4. Good knowledge of .Net Framework and .Net Platform above 6.0.
5. Good knowledge of RDBMS concepts.
6. Good knowledge of secure coding principles.
7. Good to have: Good understanding of frontend technologies like React.
8. Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals & ES6+.
9. Good knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms.
10. Optional: Knowledge of Docker or Podman.
11. Understanding of SQL Server or Postgres Database.
12. Linux hosting preferably Ubuntu.
13. Cybersecurity awareness.
14. Beneficial: Understanding of IoT platforms/services, IoT communication (MQTT, Modbus, IEC61850, REST API, OPC UA).
