Job Description:

What you’ll do:

1. Help enhance and automate the firm’s Trade Cost Analysis reporting framework
2. Help automate processes for data cleaning and processing
3. Optimize SQL queries for data collection
4. Contribute to a robust, scalable research infrastructure including AWS cloud support
5. Ensure the live production system is up and ready before the US open
6. Contribute to the firm’s open-source CSP platform

What’s required:

1. Minimum of 3 years working for a financial services firm or a bachelor’s degree in a finance related field
2. Undergraduate or higher degree in computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline
3. Strong programming experience in Python with production level coding experience
4. Strong SQL experience
5. Experience working in a Unix environment
6. Familiarity with GitHub version control and software delivery lifecycle
7. High skilled technologist with solid quantitative skills
8. Willing to take ownership of one’s own work and to work both independently and as part of a team
9. Commitment to the highest ethical standards
