Join our Quality Control team at Vestas, where we ensure the highest standards of material compliance and support the production of world-class wind turbine components. As a Quality Technician in our laboratory, you will play a key role in inspecting incoming materials and maintaining quality systems that meet both internal and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of incoming materials and chemical substances based on specifications, acceptance criteria, and technical drawings
  • Conduct conformity checks of packaging and delivery conditions, and report non-conformities
  • Operate measurement tools and gauges to verify compliance with technical standards
  • Maintain accurate records in the QCR system and generate quality reports
  • Support internal and external calibration of tools according to instructions or Quality Engineer guidelines
  • Communicate quality-related issues across departments and contribute to root cause analysis
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S implementation and corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Technical education and completion of a quality control course aligned with Vestas standards
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or laboratory setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with technical documentation and inspection procedures
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy in record-keeping and data reporting
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., QCR or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and 5S workplace organization
