Lead and manage the Quality Department team (Quality Engineers, Quality Inspectors).
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949 and specific customer requirements.
Ensure the effective application of core automotive quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Manage communication and relationships with OEM customers regarding quality performance, audits, and resolving complex quality issues (8D methodology).
Oversee internal and external audits (customer and certification audits).
Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) across all manufacturing processes to reduce defects, scrap, and warranty claims.
Manage the Quality control of incoming materials, in-process production, and final product release.
Our requirements
Candidate Profile
Must-Have Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a managerial/senior quality role within the automotive production industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier).
Strong working knowledge of German (B2/C1) is required to effectively communicate with German-speaking customers and stakeholders (e.g., German OEM’s or parent company).
Good command of English (B1/B2) is essential for daily international communication.
In-depth knowledge and proven experience in implementing and maintaining IATF 16949.
Expertise in automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a quality team.
Desirable Qualifications:
Technical university degree (Engineering, Quality Management, or related field).
Experience as an internal or external IATF 16949 Auditor.
