about-project :


  • We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer proficient in Typescript and Java to join our team. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and executing both manual and automated API tests, contributing to quality assurance processes within an Agile Scrum environment. This position requires experience with automated acceptance tests, test frameworks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery meets specification and quality standards.

responsibilities :


  • Communicate and implement test approaches effectively.
  • Analyze requirements and raise relevant questions to clarify acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks for verifying functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of products aligned with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues by identifying critical defects and verifying reported problems, including root cause analysis.
  • Report status updates and issues clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Adhere to best practices and standards within the team.

requirements-expected :


  • 2-3 years of experience in API testing, both manual and automated.
  • Proficiency in developing automated acceptance tests using Typescript and Java, with an emphasis on Typescript.
  • Experience writing tests using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin syntax.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or equivalent tools.
  • Skills in effort estimation, planning, prioritisation, and time management in an agile context.
  • Experience refactoring automation code to improve maintainability and performance.
  • Capability to write comprehensive test approaches for functional testing and exploratory testing charters, including effective communication of test results.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and tools, including but not limited to S3, EC2, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, Insomnia, or similar.
