Job location: Warsaw, hybrid within the country

Join the Global Quality team at Imperial Brands. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong quality background who wants to work closer to product development, innovation, and consumer insights.

This role connects Quality, R&D and Innovation and helps ensure that new and existing product formulations meet real consumer quality expectations. By analysing global complaint trends, interpreting consumer insights and contributing to product risk assessments, you will make sure quality is designed from the start and continuously improved across the full product portfolio.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Works closely with GCO teams (Insights, Sensory, etc.) to gain a good understanding of basic consumer quality expectations and how they translate into product requirements.
  • Conducts trend analysis of consumer complaints and has a good overview of the complaints and incidents globally.
  • Works closely with Innovation/R&D on quality-related topics:
    • Interprets product‑related quality insights and shares within GSC (Quality Compliance and Operations teams).
    • Core member of all innovation projects pre/post Boscard approval.
  • Provides design‑related input to new product risk logs based on learnings from consumer quality insights.
  • Actively shares and discusses product risk log within development project teams to continuously improve the current portfolio, as well as ensure learning is inputted into the innovation pipeline.
  • Uses available consumer insights to ensure the product quality documents are consumer relevant and consumer‑validated (lookout project), and continuously improved.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Master’s degree in life sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in quality management, quality systems, quality processes and tools (e.g., Risk Assessment/Risk Mitigation, Root Cause Analysis, QMS & SOP Development) within the FMCG sector.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and R&D processes and an interest in working closely with product development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations, combined with extensive knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluent English and the ability to communicate across different organizational levels.
  • Intercultural awareness, pro‑activeness and the ability to work under time pressure.
