Leading CE‑marking process for machinery and equipment in investment projects
Ensuring compliance with Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR)
Conducting conformity assessments aligned with EU Declaration of Conformity
Ensuring technical documentation meets EU directives, national laws, and company standards
Overseeing preparation, review, and approval of documentation
Reviewing and approving technical specifications for tendering
Monitoring documentation delivery from suppliers and internal teams
Conducting 3D‑model‑based virtual inspections for compliance and design improvements
Participating in project meetings and risk assessment sessions
Performing on‑site safety and conformity inspections
Building relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and factory stakeholders
Managing project documentation from design to commissioning
Leading compliance efforts throughout project lifecycle
Our requirements
3+ years of engineering experience
Experience in managing compliance and design safety for various types of equipment, ideally within the scope of the Machinery Directive (MD) or a related engineering field
Experience in technical documentation, risk assessment or similar engineering field
Ability to lead and influence within cross‑functional and global project teams
Willingness and availability for international business travel (approx. 20 days/year)
Communication skills in English, both verbal and written

The team you will join
The Quality Engineering team at ROCKWOOL Group Technology plays a key role in ensuring equipment compliance and machinery safety across ROCKWOOL manufacturing systems within the scope of investment projects. The team leads the CE‑marking process – from risk assessment and technical documentation to on‑site inspections – ensuring all equipment meets relevant regulations.
You will join a growing and supportive team that currently consists of six engineers and their manager – and is now growing!
