The role of Quality Engineer is based in our Niemce plant in Poland.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring customer satisfaction, first point of contact for customer quality topics;
2. Leading 8D and problem analysis, definition, and supervision over corrective actions;
3. Assuring customer and OPmobility quality requirements are met in the process, initiating risk analysis and actions in case of gaps;
4. Developing and updating the process quality documentation;
5. Process optimization and scrap reduction in cooperation with other departments;
6. Performing process and product audits;
7. Training Quality Inspectors, Production and Process Engineers on Customer and Product quality requirements;
8. Participating in Change Management, leading PPAP in serial production.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree (electronic, optics, mechanical engineering will be an advantage);
2. Minimum 2 years of quality experience in automotive or electronic (SMT) manufacturing;
3. Knowledge of IATF16949 standards and core tools, PPAP, APQP, 8D, SPC, MSA;
4. Good Polish and English language skills (written and oral);
5. Ability to travel to customer/suppliers site occasionally;
6. Self-confidence in combination with good communication and problem-solving skills;
7. Result oriented, able to work autonomously with a pronounced sense of own initiative;
8. VDA6.3, VDA6.5 certification/experience will be an advantage;
9. Knowledge of the IPC 610 standard or lighting products will be an advantage.
