Whats the job

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts, ensuring adherence to best practices and seamless integration into the CI/CD pipeline. Facilitate skill development in automation where necessary.
  • Design and execute manual test cases for scenarios not covered by automation.
  • Ability to conduct front-end, back-end, API, integration, and regression tests to validate system functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Log, track, and prioritize defects, ensuring timely fixes and accurate documentation.
  • Provide input on testing scope, complexity, and effort during estimation and planning sessions.
  • Manage the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring full coverage and maintaining quality standards within the Engineering Squad.
  • Present test results and insights to stakeholders in "Show & Tell" sessions, highlighting product readiness and quality.
  • Resolve testing challenges efficiently, continuously improving processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise in designing and executing test plans with appropriate techniques and generating clear defect reports.
  • Experience in designing and executing API tests (Postman, REST Assured), including positive, negative, and security testing.
  • Basic knowledge of Git for branching, merging, and committing code.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins) for triggering builds, monitoring pipelines, and executing basic tasks.
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis, with a focus on data manipulation and integrity.
  • Capability of designing and executing performance tests, analyzing results, and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Ability to identify, design and manage test data, and understand data flows in integrated systems.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
