At neustark, we’re all in for one mission: permanently removing one million tons of CO2 in 2030, and even more every year beyond that. Why? It’s a no-brainer: we want to enable a bright future for all future generations on our planet. And for that, we need to reduce and remove CO2 , now.
Sound exciting? Well, there’s more! We’re a closely knitted team of around 60 neustarkers, working flexibly, internationally and full of passion and ambition. We’re scaling up our solution and impact every day, currently in full-fledge expansion mode. Speed and pragmatism drive our day-to-day, as do growing together and having tons of fun together!
Do you want to help us grow our impact? Then join our carbon removal mission today.
The technology team at neustark is responsible for bringing our CO2 removal technologies from idea stage to a commercially viable solution – which can be readily rolled out. Part of this journey is first developing technology concepts, prototyping and testing, and finally standardization and industrialization – such that the revenue organization can sell the solution while operations can deliver them to customers. A key part of the later stage development are quality assurance, plant documentation and compliance with regulations.
Limiting global warming to 1.5°C implies reaching net zero CO2 emissions in 2050 according to the IPCC. Next to substantially reducing emissions, this target will only be possible by globally deploying carbon removal at the scale of billions of tons of CO2 .
Neustark is a leading provider in this rapidly growing field, having developed a solution to durably store CO2 from the air in recycled mineral waste such as demolished concrete.
Founded in 2019 in Switzerland, our first solutions have been deployed in Europe and are already capturing and storing tons of CO2 every day. We are currently scaling up our operations and carbon removal impact globally – on the road to removing one million tons of CO2 in 2030, and beyond that.
