Quality Control Specialist

Your responsibilities

­A Quality Control Specialist supports the Kerakoll Polska laboratory team in QC projects and laboratory tests in accordance with the companys technical requirements and the input of the laboratory manager and the marketing team.

The QC Specialist will carry out controls to ensure that raw materials and finished products

consistently meet the specified quality and performance standards in accordance with local and European legislation, and will manage cases of non-compliance.

The Quality Control Specialist reports to the Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities:

▪ Perform quality control tests on raw materials and semi-finished products to ensure that they meet the required chemical composition and properties. Monitor the production process and take corrective action in the event of non-compliance.

▪ Record test results in the SAP system, analyse non-compliant products and prepare reports for the Technical & Commercial Department.

▪ Update quality control procedures documents for raw materials and finished products as

required.

▪ Analyse and process results to improve operating procedures in quality control and to have a continuous improvement in the processes for the realization of the finished product.

▪ Communicate with other local QCs of the Kerakoll Group to share knowledge and best practices.

▪ Carry out sampling, maintenance and cleaning of the laboratory and its equipment in

accordance with internal procedures and European legislation.

▪ Submit purchase requisitions for maintenance services and spare parts to the Quality Control Manager for approval.

▪ Calibrate equipment according to the calibration schedule and record results.

▪ Assist in the inspection of production lines to ensure the quality of semi-finished and finished products.

Our requirements

Industry and background:

▪ Degree in Materials Science Engineering or Chemistry​

▪ Experience of 2+ years in QC or equivalent considered as a plus

▪ Previous experience in manufacturing considered as a plus

▪ Excellent team working skills and project management skills

▪ English language (A2 or higher)

▪ Proficiency in Continuous Improvement and Data Analysis are considered a plus

▪ Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint)

▪ SAP knowledge considered as a plus

▪ Minitab or similar software knowledge considered as a plus
