About this opportunity

The Quality Control Lead manages the department resources to ensure that devices are manufactured and distributed according to specifications. They are responsible for managing the team of Quality Control Supervisors and providing coordination of Quality Control expertise on daily production issues, process improvements, failure analysis, customer complaint resolution, and interfacing with outside regulatory agencies.

In this role, you will:

  1. Identify and manage projects to improve the effectiveness of the Quality Control area.
  2. Implement and maintain standardized local QC KPI’s, aligned with global KPI’s, and systems for easy retrieval and reporting.
  3. Ensure the fulfillment of objectives and deadlines, including managing product inspection, release activities, quality criteria application, and timely QC data reporting.
  4. Lead and coordinate preparation for corporate or outside agency inspections related to QMS in Quality Control.
  5. Oversee issue identification within the quality control area and implement corrective and preventive actions.

In this role, you’ll need

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Medical Device, Pharma, or life science Quality Management.
  • Experience in Quality Control development and implementation within the Medical Device Industry.
  • Fluent English and Polish (reading, writing, conversation).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High level of commitment, positive attitude, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Research skills and creative problem-solving abilities for QC/QMS challenges.
  • Leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and in a fast-changing environment.
