We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our client in the technology industry as part of the dynamic Quality Assurance team.
This is a junior-level role suited for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience in software testing. The position is fully office-based, providing hands-on training and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and has a general understanding of software testing methodologies.
Your responsibilities
- Execute test cases for device features and components.
- Assist in analyzing product requirements and creating test specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing using physical devices.
- Document test results, report defects, and track quality metrics.
- Identify potential risks and technical challenges.
- Follow test plans and best practices with guidance from senior team members.
Employer requirements
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in software testing.
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with SQL and command-line interfaces.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail) and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
Optional
- Experience with Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Athena.
- Previous experience with hardware testing.
