Whenever you write a new line of code, you also potentially add new bugs. Thats especially (and painfully) true when youre working as a team on several different projects at the same time. We treat our Software Tester as a watchful investigator whose efforts are crucial in delivering better and more reliable websites and web apps.

Your profile:

MUST HAVE

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in testing (manual and automation, both for desktop and mobile)
  • Experience in testing websites - that’s very important for us, as we mainly work with static websites, which are written in React and use Headless CMS-es such as Contentful, Storyblok, Sanity
  • Understanding of UX principles and experience in usability/accessibility testing
  • Experience in working independently as the only QA on the project
  • Experience in working in a few projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English - at least B2+ level
  • Knowledge and experience in automation testing tools, preferably Cypress and/or Playwright
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to write clean bug reports and test documentation
  • We also pay attention to good soft skills - clear communication, proactiveness and ownership, ability to learn and adapt to changes, ability to share and receive constructive feedback

NICE TO HAVE

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience in SEO testing
  • Knowledge of ISTQB and CMSes, like Contentful, Storyblok, Sanity
  • Ability to quickly adapt to the project and absorb domain knowledge
  • Experience of working with Jira

Responsibilities:

  • Performing functional, regression, responsiveness, performance, SEO, accessibility, cross-browser, smoke tests on a daily basis, together with the QA team. The majority of testing will be manual, but sometimes we might also need your automation testing knowledge.
  • Preparing and executing test case scenarios
  • Reporting test results and cooperation with the dev team
  • Defining and setting our testing standards and quality
  • Taking part in the calls and discussions with clients together with the rest of the team
  • Acting as an expert in your field - advising on test topics, proposing customized solutions, sharing your knowledge and best practices with us

Our team and how we work:

  • We have 34 people in the company - 13 developers, 5 designers, 2 PMs, 1 QA and a few other people in Operations, Marketing, Sales
  • Ideally, we would need your support around 4-4,5h a day (80-100h monthly) - we give a lot of flexibility when it comes to specific working hours
  • You would take care of a few projects simultaneously and would be working independently, but you can always count on support and discussion with our devs, PMs or another QA if needed
