What daily challenges are waiting for you?
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests primarily using Playwright (TypeScript).
- Execute manual functional and regression tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in agile development processes including daily stand‑up meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Verify and validate software requirements through functional and regression testing.
- Analyze and report software defects to development teams using the JIRA bug tracking tool.
- Document test results and provide feedback to QA Team Lead on software quality.
- Identify areas of improvement in the software development process and recommend solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Other ad‑hoc tasks requested by the line manager.
What you need to be successful in this role?
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a similar QA Automation role.
- Strong working knowledge of at least one modern programming language (preferably TypeScript or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI.
- Understanding of software testing concepts such as unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of browser and device compatibility testing.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Understanding of test case management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
