We are seeking candidates for our client which is an American publicly traded telecommunications company. The company was the worlds largest telephone service company and the largest cable television network for a time. Currently due to a lot of new projects theyre expanding european team and looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Workplace: Katowice (Poland), Brno (Czechia) or Bratislava (Slovakia)
Work in hybrid system: 1 office day per week


Short about role:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions, as well as reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics. 

A key aspect of this role involves conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains cost-effective. You should possess a background in both software development and quality assurance, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

  • More than 3 years of Test Automation experiences on the level as the test programmer, not only user (must have real test automation experiences)
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Be able to work with standard collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT or SVN)
  • Have some experiences with some IDE (company is using MS Studio CODE)
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Experiences with Testing Framework PlayWright + JavaScript (or some another) will be a big plus
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Good knowledge skills of English language (B2 or higher)
