About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance / DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in both functional and automation testing, who thrives in agile environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across backend, UI, and database layers.
• Perform integration testing for REST/SOAP APIs and event‑driven systems using Kafka or MQ.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct regression testing, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices to streamline testing and deployment.
• Champion agile testing best practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in both functional and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in backend, UI, and database testing.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP services and Kafka/MQ‑based applications.
• Solid understanding of requirements analysis, test case creation, regression testing, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Hands‑on experience with BDD testing frameworks.
• Cloud‑based qualification.
• AI/Copilot knowledge.
