Exciting Opportunity: Quality Assurance Application Test Engineer (QA Engineer)

At Autoliv, our mission to Save More Lives drives everything we do. Our pioneering safety products are crucial in making vehicles safer for everyone. We are now looking for an ambitious and experienced QA Engineer to join our global business IT team and contribute to our lifesaving mission.

Your strengths are creativity, critical and logical thinking while working in a team environment. You have experience with best QA practices (ISTQB), Test automation API testing, and are familiar with other types of testing like performance testing. You are independent and take ownership on test processes from planning to validation and delivery. You have good organizational and time management skills. You want to step up and help us in a global team to reach the next level and deliver the right things in the right ways to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Involved in requirements review process.
2. Test case execution and result reporting based on requirements/specification.
3. Automation of test cases for efficiency.
4. Ensure integrity on systems functionality (testing after updates, changes).
5. Provide or ensure 2nd/3rd line of support for systems in scope.
6. Perform configurations on systems in scope.
7. Ensure integrity and security of corporate data.
8. Defect tracking and reporting.
9. Collaborate with internal and/or external Developers and Business analysts.

About You:

1. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
2. Fluency in English.
3. 4+ years relevant work experience.
4. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, Test automation development and execution, defect reporting and tracking, code reviews and scripting, test case management and test processes.
5. Bonus if skills with Dassault Systems stack Apriso, performance testing.
6. Additional bonus skills: Oracle PL/SQL, Selenium, Programming Java/Python, Postman.
7. Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
8. Testing experience with engineering applications.
