What you will be doing as a Quality & Food Safety Manager in ourBrzeg Plant:

The core focus of this role is to ensure compliance of all products placed on the market with national and EU regulations, as well as customer expectations.

This will be done through the main following activities:

• Ensuring the application of quality assurance and quality control standards in all products, adherence to best practices, standards and procedures in the field of quality maintenance and assurance,
• Monitoring of production methods, product safety and quality, and risk management,
• Conducting / commissioning research, evaluating, updating and implementing quality assurance and control practices in accordance with the companys best practices,
• Undertaking appropriate corrective and remedial actions to ensure the appropriate quality of products and services,
• Analyzing customer feedback on the quality of products or services, and initiating and setting quality assurance standards in line with customer needs,
• Conducting internal and external audits (warehouses, laboratories, suppliers),
• Supervision and assistance in the implementation of instructions and procedures related to the improvement of control and quality assurance at the BrzegPlant,
• Opinion on marking, participation in the development of standards, information for customers, control institutions, handling complaints.

This position coordinates a team of 20 people (Quality Assurance and Quality Control), with 3 direct reports.

What do we expect from our Quality & Food Safety Manager?

• Higher education (preferred fields of study:food technology, biotechnology, chemistry),
• At least 3 years of experience in quality and food safety management in the food / animal feed/ pharmaceutical industry,
• 3 years’ experience in managing a team of employees,
• Practical knowledge of creating and implementing Quality System documentation (HACCP, IFS, GMP, EFISC),
• Very good command of the English language and Polish,
• SAP knowledge is a plus,
• Analytical skills, the ability to synthetically present conclusions and recommendations,
• Advanced knowledge of the use of MS Office- Excel at least intermediate level.
