Detailed description of work task to be carried out

Primary tasks include implementing automated test cases, automating Front End and Backend flows, performing Performance Testing, managing test data, monitoring and documenting test results, and driving improvements in test automation coverage.

QA Test Engineer (Automation)

Your responsibilities

• Implement Automated test cases in coordination with developers, manual testers, product owners and business expert
• Reduce Manual Testing needs by automating Front End and Backend flows
• Perform Performance Testing as per standards, using JMeter
• Gather and manage test data needed for testing
• Monitor, debug and document test results
• Proactively drive improvements to automated test coverage

Our requirements

• Have general testing knowledge (e.g. level of ISTQB Foundation)
• Have ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team
• Are willing to constantly improve your competences in test automation
• Have good communication skills to drive automation focus also among other team members
• Your experience and background:
• 7+ years of hands-on test automation experience in any of following domains: GUI based (Web), service-based level (REST)
• Coding skills in Java
• Knowledge and experience in solutions supporting test automation (Maven, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman, Chrome devtools)
• Fluent in using GIT
• PlayWright, Java Selenium, Cypress,
• Experience in Non-Functional Testing especially Performance Testing using tools like JMeter
• Experience in test management tools (preferably qTest)
• Experience working with Confluence, Jira
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo)
• Experience in mobile apps testing would be an additional asset
• Skills with data manipulation using various data formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON) would be an additional asset
• Experience in implementing behavior driven development approach and familiar with Gherkin
• Hands on manual testing experience
• Good presentation and communication skills
