As a QA Specialist at ULAM LABS , you will assess software quality through manual testing, identify bugs, and ensure client products, applications, and systems function correctly. With a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills, you will work closely with clients on Blockchain projects, playing a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our software solutions.
We are ULAM LABS - a Wroclaw-based Custom Software Development Company specializing in creating complex products for companies, focusing on financial technologies and the Web3 sphere.
Your daily missions
- Analyzing and assessing users stories for validity and feasibility;
- Creating test scenarios and cases based on business requirements and user stories;
- Introducing test automation to the project and creating automated tests;
- Collaborating closely with Client and other team members (Frontend/Backend/Blockchain Developers, Project Manager);
- Detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies;
- Applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle;
- Sharing ideas on how to improve the app and the testing process;
- Daily work in tools such as Github, Jira, and Confluence.
Your profile - 2+ years’ experience in manual software testing;
- Experience in SCRUM and working with Developers, Project Managers;
- Familiarity with Postman and issue-tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar);
- Team working skills, especially the ability to give and receive feedback;
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly;
- Self-discipline, proactivity, and willingness to develop;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Strong verbal and written English and Polish (min. B2);
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model during the probationary period (3 office days/week). Afterward, you can switch to a remote model if you prefer.
We appreciate the extras in you - Bachelor/Masters degree in any science studies, completed or currently in progress;
- Knowledge in any of the following programming languages: Python, JS;
- ISTQB.

How do we recruit? - CV review - Your application will be carefully reviewed to know if you meet the basic requirements.
- Phone interview - During the 30-minute call, we will get to know each other better. Also by talking in English.
- HR and project-tech meetings - This step is divided into two parts. The online HR interview includes a company presentation and an in-depth interview with soft questions. During the technical on-site part, you can showcase all your talents by answering technical questions asked by your future supervisor. Here, you can also talk about the details of the role.
- Offering with feedback - You can expect feedback from us. Once we are sure that you are a perfect fit for the role, we will prepare an offer for you.

What will your onboarding look like? First day and week We are excited to spend your first day with you in our office. You will get to know your dedicated Buddy and the whole team, meet your Leader - Marcela Rutkowska, and receive a welcome pack with all equipment you need for work. You will also complete the formalities of the contract, and have training on tools and health & safety. We will also tell you more about the company and our corporate culture. Time for a break and having coffee/tea and lunch on the house with your team. After the first week, you will already know your team and supervisor, be introduced to the projects, and learn your first duties in the new position. You will become familiar with the intranet and documentation of the projects you will be working on. You will finish the week with a feedback meeting hosted by the People & Culture team.
First month You will know all your responsibilities, and actively participate in team meetings. You will have cyclical 1:1 meetings with the Leader. After a month of cooperation, we expect you to be self-reliant in reporting detected errors and bugs, and to understand the basics of blockchain functionality. You will end the month with a feedback meeting, hosted by the People & Culture team.
First three months After two months of successful cooperation, you will talk to your Leader about how you are working with us. We look forward to your feedback. After the whole onboarding, you will already be fully implemented in the projects and your responsibilities, and you will master all the names of our employees! :)#J-18808-Ljbffr
