Salary: 6,500 - 8,500 PLN gross UoP (full-time, hybrid, 2 days/week in Wroclaw office). For B2B: 7,800 - 10,200 PLN net + VAT, benefits, 24 days paid break.

ULAM LABS is a Wroclaw-based custom software development company focused on MedTech and financial technologies. We craft complex products and collaborate closely with clients.

Your Daily Missions

  • Analyze user stories for feasibility and clarity.
  • Design and execute test scenarios and cases based on business requirements.
  • Create automated tests in the future.
  • Collaborate with the client and full‑stack developers.
  • Detect, track, and resolve software bugs and inconsistencies.
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, assess QA risks, and estimate ticket effort together with developers.
  • Share ideas to improve the application and testing processes.
  • Work daily with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Present demos to clients and showcase your work as your role develops.

Your Profile

  • 2‑4 years of commercial experience in manual software testing of web applications within custom software development companies.
  • Experience in SCRUM and working with other QA specialists and developers.
  • Familiarity with Postman and issue‑tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Strong team‑working skills, including giving and receiving feedback.
  • Desire to build a long‑term career in QA.
  • Self‑disciplined, proactive, and eager to develop.
  • Familiar with test automation tools like Cypress.
  • Willingness to develop skills in test automation.
  • Strong verbal and written English (B2 minimum) and Polish (C1 minimum).
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (minimum 2 office days per week).

Onboarding – first day

We’ll welcome you into our office. You’ll meet your Buddy, the whole team, and your Supervisor. We’ll give you a welcome pack and handle all formalities, including essential trainings on tools, health & safety, and company culture.

By the end of your first week, you’ll

  • Know your team, buddy, and supervisor.
  • Be familiar with our project and your first responsibilities.
  • Wrap up the week with a friendly feedback session led by Natalia Pesta, our People Partner.

Onboarding – one month

By this stage, you’ll have a clear understanding of responsibilities and actively contribute in team meetings. You’ll take part in regular 1:1 sessions with your Leader to discuss progress, ideas, and support.

After your first month, you’ll work more independently – confidently reporting errors or bugs and understanding core functionality.

You’ll wrap up this stage with another feedback meeting hosted by Natalia Pesta to celebrate progress and plan next steps.

Onboarding – three months

Two months in, you’ll sit down for a friendly conversation about progress, settling in, and further support.

By the end of onboarding, you’ll be fully immersed in your project, confident in responsibilities, and have mastered the names of teammates.
