We are supporting Gap inşaat – one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of Qa / Qc inspector - civil/hydrotechnical works to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

What we expect

  • bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in pipeline construction projects (onshore/offshore)
  • valid certification in ISO 19011 or ISO 9001 for audit responsibilities
  • must hold a qualification in line with FROSIO Inspector Level III or be certified as a NACE Coating Inspector Level III
  • must hold a valid CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI welding inspection certificate
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Welding codes: ASME B31.3 / B31.8
  • Coating standards: SSPC, NACE, ISO 21809
  • hydrotesting procedures, leak tests, reinstatement
  • flange management and bolt torqing
  • familiarity with project quality documentation: ITPs, WPS/PQRs, weld maps, NDT reports, MTCs
  • advanced knowledge of Polish and English
  • willingness to work in the project office

Your tasks

  • implement and maintain the project QMS for pipeline-related scopes
  • supervise and inspect pipe spool fabrication, weld inspections, pipe laying, coating integrity, and tie-ins both on jackets and topsides
  • supervise and verify all NDT activities
  • inspect and document pipe storage, line-up, field joint coating, holiday testing, and related protective systems
  • witness and control hydrostatic testing, flushing, drying, and pressure testing — ensuring calibrated instruments, test packs, and traceability
  • manage NCRs, site observations, punch items, and follow-up corrective/preventive actions
  • participate in internal, client and third-party audits, and ensure alignment with ISO 19011 or ISO 9001 audit competence guidelines
