We are supporting Gap inşaat – one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of QA/QC Inspector - Piping works to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

What we expect
- bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in pipeline construction projects (onshore/offshore)
- valid certification in ISO 19011 or ISO 9001 for audit responsibilities
- must hold a qualification in line with FROSIO Inspector Level III or be certified as a NACE Coating Inspector Level III
- must hold a valid CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI welding inspection certificate
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Welding codes: ASME B31.3 / B31.8
- Coating standards: SSPC, NACE, ISO 21809
- hydrotesting procedures, leak tests, reinstatement
- flange management and bolt torqing
- familiarity with project quality documentation: ITPs, WPS/PQRs, weld maps, NDT reports, MTCs
- advanced knowledge of Polish and English
- willingness to work in the project office

Your tasks
- implement and maintain the project QMS for pipeline-related scopes
- supervise and inspect pipe spool fabrication, weld inspections, pipe laying, coating integrity, and tie-ins both on jackets and topsides
- supervise and verify all NDT activities
- inspect and document pipe storage, line-up, field joint coating, holiday testing, and related protective systems
- witness and control hydrostatic testing, flushing, drying, and pressure testing — ensuring calibrated instruments, test packs, and traceability
- manage NCRs, site observations, punch items, and follow-up corrective/preventive actions
- participate in internal, client and third-party audits, and ensure alignment with ISO 19011 or ISO 9001 audit competence guidelines
