We are supporting Gap inşaat – one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of Qa / Qc inspector - civil/hydrotechnical works to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

What we expect
- bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field
- minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale marine or offshore EPC projects
- proven site-based experience in dredging, pile driving operations, and marine concrete works (jetty, quay wall, pile caps, etc.)
- strong familiarity with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), concrete pour protocols, and pile testing (e.g. PDA, static load tests)
- solid understanding of non-conformance reporting (NCR), corrective action follow-up, and QA documentation workflows
- audit training and qualification in accordance with ISO 19011 or ISO 9001
- ability to interpret project specifications, construction drawings, and method statements
- proficient in daily QA reporting and inspection recordkeeping using standard QA/QC formats and checklists
- strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary construction and inspection teams
- advanced knowledge of Polish and English
- willingness to work in the project office

Your tasks
- implement and maintain the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) across all marine construction activities, including dredging, piling, and concrete works
- monitor and control pile driving operations, including recording blow counts, penetration rates, elevations, and verifying PDA/static load test results
- conduct inspections and quality checks for reinforcement, formwork, concrete delivery, pouring, curing, and cube sampling related to jetty and quay wall structures
- ensure all construction activities comply with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and project specifications
- identify and report non-conformities (NCRs), support root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions
- coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure inspection activities are completed and documented accurately
- participate in internal and external audits, assist in documentation preparation, and ensure timely closure of findings
- maintain daily QA/QC reports, inspection checklists, and photographic records
