We are supporting Gap inşaat – one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of Qa / Qc inspector - civil/hydrotechnical works to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

Your tasks

• carrying out regular inspections and controls at the construction site in the field of earthworks, construction and hydrotechnical works
• verification of compliance of the performed works with the approved design documentation, technical specifications, workmanship instructions and quality plan
• quality control of used construction materials and products in terms of their attestations, certificates and declarations of conformity
• supervision of the correct performance of tests and control measurements
• recording of all observed inconsistencies, defects and deviations from quality requirements.
• preparation of inspection and control reports documenting the observed problems
• cooperation with the construction management and subcontractors in determining the causes of nonconformities and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• keeping and archiving documentation related to quality control
• verification and completion of as-built documentation for compliance with quality requirements
• participation in partial and final acceptance of works
• taking care of application of current procedures and instructions for quality control
• participation in internal and external audits related to the quality management system

What we expect

• degree in Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering.
• minimum 5 years of experience in hydrotechnical works, including steel pipe pile driving
• experience in working with technical documentation, specifications for the execution and acceptance of works, construction standards and laws
• ability to identify non-conformities and assess the quality of work performed
• ability to prepare reports and documentation of quality control
• good knowledge of processes and technologies of execution of construction and hydrotechnical works
• excellent knowledge of the Polish language
• very good knowledge of English is essential for communication with international teams
• driving license cat B
