We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join our team in the Parking Business domain, focused on testing tariff configurations and payment behavior across multiple Parking Terminals (PnDs). You will work at the intersection of hardware, embedded systems, and UI software to ensure that tariffs created in the management system behave correctly across various terminal platforms and versions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys testing real-world devices, has a strong eye for detail, and is interested in evolving manual processes into automated testing solutions.
responsibilities :
Test and validate parking tariff configurations created in UI against different terminal software/hardware versions.
Prepare and export tariffs and apply them via SD cards to parking terminals.
Verify tariff application directly on devices by: Checking UI screens / Generating parking tickets /Reviewing device logs and error codes.
Identify discrepancies, software/hardware issues, and report bugs clearly with context and evidence.
Work with development and hardware teams to troubleshoot and improve tariff deployment reliability.
Participate in the next project phase to automate tariff delivery and verification:
a) Write scripts/tools (in JavaScript or Python) to interact with terminal APIs or test environments.
b) Collaborate on the design and validation of automated terminal testing infrastructure.

Experience in manual QA for hardware-software integrated systems.
Familiarity with reading and validating configuration files and logs.
Ability to work with physical devices (SD cards, terminals, embedded UIs).
Solid understanding of software QA principles and test design.
Basic programming/scripting skills (JavaScript or Python) or strong willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across software and hardware teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with passion for reproducibility and test clarity.
