We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to join our team to take ownership of the quality assurance process for our Magento-based e-commerce platform.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and user experience of our website. Initially, the focus will be manual testing, but a major part of the role will involve building the automation testing infrastructure from scratch and defining processes to integrate automation into our CI/CD pipelines with the DevOps team.

responsibilities :
a) Manual Testing:
Perform thorough functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across the Magento site (frontend and backend).
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Identify, document, and track bugs, and verify bug fixes.
Validate new features and enhancements against business requirements and specifications.
Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Design teams to ensure high-quality releases.
b) Automation Setup:
Design and implement the QA automation strategy for the Magento platform.
Select appropriate automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Build the initial automation test suite for critical paths (e.g., checkout, payment, login, order management).
Develop, run, and maintain automated scripts for functional, regression, and integration tests.
Define and establish test environments and manage test data.

5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with both manual and automation testing focus.
