Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.
Currently we are looking for: QA Engineer (f/m)
Your responsibilities:
- Define guidelines and implement tools for software testing
- Plan and execute test automation strategy
- Drive system testing activities for product teams
- Provide guidance on testing and documentation to project teams
- Continuous development of API and UI automation for the new features in releases
- Create, execute, improve and maintain automation test scripts through best practices, monitor test results for feedback
- Provide QA manual test strategy and test plan (scenarios, steps, expected results, signoff, traceability matrix)
- Execute planned test cases and perform exploratory testing in areas potentially affected by the implementation of a requirement or bug fix
- Actively ensure testing standards are being upheld and test case specifications cover risk areas
- Define comprehensive use cases and convert them into test scenarios and test cases.
Our requirements:
Must-have:
- Extensive experience with test automation tools (pref. Playwright)
- Practical knowledge of programming in at least one programming language (Python, Java or JavaScript)
- Extensive experience with REST
- Strong Knowledge on XML and JSON Validation for mocking up the data for Third party system application
- Good understanding of contemporary QA/test principles, methodologies, and techniques regarding testing needs
- Strong problem solving, project planning, systems analysis, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Apache Airflow testing
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Cypress
