QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a major Fintech company in Kraków, working across multiple projects as an individual contributor. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong Java automation experience who enjoys taking ownership of testing cycles and driving quality across high-performing financial systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and execute automated test frameworks (Java, Selenium, Cucumber/BDD).
• Work across APIs (REST, Kafka) and databases (SQL/Postgres/MySQL).
• Carry out functional, regression, performance and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA colleagues to troubleshoot, refine, and strengthen testing approaches.
• Contribute to testing strategies across a variety of fintech and banking projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of QA automation experience, with solid knowledge of Java.
• Experience creating automation frameworks with Selenium/Cucumber/BDD.
• Familiarity with APIs (Kafka, REST).
• Exposure to cloud (Azure) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) a huge plus.
• Strong QA fundamentals: test cycle design, debugging, and problem resolution.
• Previous experience in fintech or banking is highly desirable.

Interview Process

1st round: Technical – heavy focus on Java and automation frameworks.

2nd round: Team fit interview with senior stakeholders.
