We are seeking a highly skilled SDET to join our engineering team that is building End-to-End Investment Management System. 

You will work closely with developers, product owners, and end users to ensure the delivery of well-tested and reliable features. 

What a QA Engineer will do: 

Collaboration & Communication 

  • Participate in daily syncs with the development team and Product Owner to share work progress. 
  • Attend weekly planning meetings and demo sessions to review progress and showcase recent updates. 
  • Engage in 1-on-1 meetings with the Product Owner and/or end-users to clarify business logic and requirements. 

Testing & Quality Assurance 

  • Collaborate with teams across multiple app modules to define appropriate testing strategies and integration. 
  • Analyze and clarify business logic requirements for new and existing functionality. 
  • Develop and maintain E2E tests using Playwright (TypeScript), including tests with API calls, mock data, and fixtures. 
  • Refactor existing E2E tests based on functional changes. 
  • Investigate failed test runs in CI pipelines, report bugs, and track defect resolution. 
  • Develop and support unit/component tests using Vite and React Testing Library. 
  • Configure the testing framework and environment 

Development & Code Quality 

  • Fix minor front-end defects. 
  • Implement simple front-end features as needed. 
  • Conduct code reviews of developers’ contributions to ensure code quality and consistency.

What we expect from a QA Engineer: 

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, types, and techniques. 
  • 4+ years of total experience in manual/automated testing 
  • 2+ years of experience writing automated tests in TypeScript/JavaScript. 
  • Manual testing experience 
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for E2E, API, and component testing. 
  • Solid experience with React, including Redux state management. 
  • Practical knowledge of GitHub Actions for automation and CI/CD. 
  • Fluent in English (B2+); able to participate in daily verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Availability until 12/1 PM Eastern Time for collaboration. 

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with RTK Query and Axios. 
  • Familiarity with AG Grid or MUI Grid. 
  • Understanding of Highcharts for data visualization. 
  • Exposure to AWS, especially CloudWatch. 
  • Basic experience with Terraform. 
  • Interest or background in FinTech or investing domains.
