We are looking for a QA Engineer for our security project.
Responsibilities
- Functional & Integration Testing: Design, execute, and analyze test scenarios for NMS features including device management, configuration, monitoring, alarms, and topology visualization.
- GUI Testing: Validate complex web-based UI flows, dashboards, and user interactions.
- API & Interface Testing: Test and validate external system integrations via REST and GraphQL interfaces, including authentication, error handling, and data consistency.
- Database Validation: Work with Sybase (or similar relational databases) to validate configuration, telemetry, and system state data.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports. Track defects with detailed reproduction steps.
- Automation: Develop or extend automated tests using Robot Framework and Python, including API and UI layers.
- Collaboration & Troubleshooting: Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product owners to investigate and resolve issues across the solution stack.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience testing network management / monitoring / NMS / OSS systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SNMP, routing/switching basics).
- Hands‑on experience with REST API validation tools (Postman, curl, Swagger, etc.).
- Experience with SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation; Sybase is an advantage.
- Strong Linux command-line proficiency.
- Automation experience with Robot Framework / PyTest / Playwright.
- Familiarity with Git and defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Good To Know
- Understanding of observability systems (Prometheus, Elastic, Grafana).
- Background in networking products (routers, firewalls, QoS, DPI, etc.).
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes environments.
