We are seeking a QA Automation Lead to ensure the quality of a financial platform for investment managers that will enable the analysis of financial data and facilitate informed decision-making based on this analysis.

What a QA Automation Lead will do:
- Ensure that the system meets standards and best practices,
- Ensure regular quality evaluation of the system and processes,
- Define and drive a roadmap for quality assurance,
- Research, identify, and implement new test automation technologies and best practices,
- Coordinate and support software developers regarding testing best practices,
- Communicate with the client and the team daily,
- Interact with development teams to help implement optimized and re-usable functional test automation,
- Collect metrics and report processes to improve transparency and efficiency,
- Create tools and test scripts when necessary.
About you:
- Deep knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures, as well as overall QA,
- Technical leadership in the quality assurance area,
- Expertise in automated testing of web applications and APIs (e2e, acceptance tests, unit tests),
- Solid understanding of automated testing tools (Playwright - Cypress using JavaScript),
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) methodologies and tools,
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively lead cross-functional teams and bring together technical and non-technical stakeholders,
- Robust mentoring skills to guide and support team members in delivering high-quality results,
- Fluent English: for daily communication with native speakers from the U.S.,
- Availability until 7 PM CET: Our product team and end users operate in the Eastern Time Zone, so we need an overlap for effective collaboration. Still, we expect 8 hours of work daily, so you could start later or take breaks.
Will be a plus:
- Finance knowledge: There is no need for deep conceptual understanding, but general knowledge about investment management is a significant advantage, specifically equities, back-testing, and financial simulations,
- Experience working with end users/clients directly, figuring out their needs, and delivering end-to-end solutions,
- Experience in security and performance testing,
- Experience with backend automated tests on Kotlin/Python or any other backend programming language,
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
