QA Automation Engineer (k/m/*)
Your responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and drive the testing strategy for the Findability domain.
- Create and maintain automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, supported by manual testing when necessary.
- Enable the team to deliver quality by promoting strong testing practices and improving test coverage.
- Provide fast and actionable feedback on releases, bugs, and new features before they reach production.
- Identify quality risks early and work with the team to resolve them proactively.
- Collaborate with the QA Platform Team and contribute to continuously improving tools, processes, and ways of working.
- Actively participate in team ceremonies and suggest improvements to ways of working.
Our requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in QA or software development, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright) and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr).
- Ability to write and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into them.
- Experience in API testing, manual or automated.
- Ability to write test scripts in TypeScript, Python, Mastro, or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with GCP and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is a plus.
- ISTQB Foundation (CTFL) certificate and solid knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with TDD or shift-left approaches is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, enabling collaboration with various roles, stakeholders, and teams.
