Your tasks

•  You do understand every day Developers struggles and you really want to address them? This is what we are doing 
• You will design and build platforms to be used by all developers in Volvo Group 
• You will experiment with new technologies and WoW that can improve developer experience 
• You will design architecture templates for new solutions  
• You will help application teams and other fellow architects to create their roadmaps into the future 
• You will be active player in digital transformation of one of the best automotive companies in the world 

Who we're looking for?

Skills related to manual testing:

• Understanding of the techniques for manual testing such as regression, exploratory, ad hoc and performance testing
• Awareness about agile methodology
• At least basic knowledge about web apps
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Confluence, Azure Devops

Skills in the the automation field: 

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the automation for the frontend and backend solutions
• Awareness of at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Playwright (or e.g. Cypress - but preferably the first two of these)
• Familiarity with MSTest, NUnit, and REST Assured or any other similar tool
• At least basic knowledge about Object-Oriented Programing and C# language 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Project description

You will be very warmly welcome in a great & passionate team called DevSecOps. We are supporting digital transformation of Volvo Group into DevSecOps, and we are deep into it. It is no longer for us to discuss CI/CDs or importance of security at every step of the way. What we discuss today is how applications will be developed years from now. We are also building platforms, including Backstage with all its blows and whistles. We also push the automation at every stage of software lifecycle and helping to shape new directions for Cloud.  We are currently looking for strong Architects within the team.
