The QA Engineer contributes significantly to test automation, collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues effectively. The QA Engineer will have the ability to write concise defects and gather supporting documentation and capture logs.**## ****About the role of the QA Engineer:***** ## As a QA Engineer at Digital Turbine, you will be a part of a dedicated and talented team of QA Engineers and Developers that ship high scale and high availability services, SDKs, and features that impact millions of people each day.* ## You will be using and growing your test skills by owning features end-to-end, developing accurate test metrics to determine coverage and test effectiveness.* ## Research and implementing new test approaches, and actively sharing knowledge across the team across a wide variety of projects.* ## You will also be working closely with Development and Product Management to understand features, implementation details, and usage models and using that data to develop a comprehensive test strategy.## ## ****Qualifications of the QA Engineer:***** ## 1-3 years of experience helping a team successfully test, validate, and launch product features.* ## Proven experience in Web UI testing automation with a modern framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).* ## Solid experience in REST API verification using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar libraries. Experience with a scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).* ## Strong analytical skills for investigating and troubleshooting complex issues, including working with raw data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).* ## Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).* ## Knowledge of a bug management system (i.e. JIRA).
