WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a QA Engineer at Kaseya, you’ll be our quality ambassador, ensuring that every product release meets the highest standards. You’ll work closely with an agile development team to uncover creative ways to identify and report defects, validate solutions, and ensure a seamless user experience. With an eye for detail and a passion for high-quality applications, you’ll take ownership of creating test strategies for both existing and new features, execute test plans, and represent the “gate” for our Agile milestones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quality Assurance : Act as a quality advocate for customers, ensuring Kaseya’s products are of the highest quality.
• Collaborative Testing : Hold development and design teams accountable for creating measurable, testable acceptance criteria.
• Test Planning : Build detailed test specifications and strategies, execute thorough test plans, and maintain a dynamic, evolving test environment.
• Problem Solving : Assist in reproducing bugs reported outside of QA and collaborate with Product Management on triaging and prioritizing them.
• Process Involvement : Participate in the release processes for assigned projects, continuously working to enhance and streamline testing protocols.
• Requirements Analysis : Work with Product Management & Design to convert customer requirements into detailed use cases and measurable test criteria.

ABOUT YOU:

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience : 4+ years in software quality assurance, with proficiency in reading and verifying code (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Technical Skills :
  • Proficient with Linux and familiar with shell scripting.
  • Windows system administration knowledge.
  • Experience testing APIs (REST APIs, Postman, etc.).
• Agile Expertise : Familiarity with agile development environments and methodologies.
• Testing Tools : Proficient with test frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : Excellent debugging skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Version Control : Experience with software configuration management and version control (GitLab is a plus).
