With the aim of providing easily customizable online pre-employment assessment tests, eSkill Corporation has developed into a global leader in employment-related skills testing. eSkill provides organizations with a web-based skill testing service. Specifically, the eSkill application lets hiring and training managers configure tests from our extensive subject library to match their hiring and training needs and reduce the risk of hiring failures and discrimination litigation. 

eSkill engineering team is expanding, and we are looking for a talented and independent QA Automation Engineer to join our Agile Scrum team. If you have a strong experience with E2E Testing and solid understanding of the Playwright framework and TypeScript development, we would love to hear from you! 

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for our applications. You will work closely with software engineers and product owners in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an Agile setting and has a solid background in scripting and automation frameworks, particularly with Playwright and TypeScript.

Required skills and experience: 

• Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on End-to-End (E2E) testing.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and a working knowledge of Playwright (or similar automation frameworks like Cypress, TestCafe or Selenium).
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Proficient in writing automated test scripts and handling various testing challenges such as User Interfaces, API, and functional testing.
• A solid understanding of the SDLC and how quality assurance fits into an Agile workflow.

Nice-to-have: 

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development approach and tools like Cucumber.
• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman.
• Experience with load or performance testing.

,[Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand product features and create test plans. , Design, implement, and maintain automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright. , Create and execute End-to-End (E2E) tests, identifying and troubleshooting issues in the automation pipeline. , Develop and improve existing testing frameworks, tools, and processes. , Work within an Agile Scrum environment, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. , Contribute to the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by ensuring that the right tests are in place on time, executed, and maintained effectively.
