QA Automation Engineer – Golang and Playwright

Join Sii Poland as a QA Automation Engineer – Golang and Playwright. In this role, you will develop efficient test automation frameworks and scripts in Golang, work with Playwright for UI testing, and contribute to optimizing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate releases while maintaining high quality. Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test scripts and frameworks with a focus on REST API quality assurance.
• Conduct thorough functional and non‑functional tests, including performance, security, resilience, and chaos testing scenarios.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software delivery.
• Define and implement quality processes that boost engineering efficiency and product reliability.
• Automate various steps within the software development lifecycle to reduce manual overhead.
• Review and provide feedback on code and test designs to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
• Support team growth by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and fostering best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Tester with a strong focus on delivering high‑quality test automation solutions.
• Commercial experience with both Golang and Playwright is mandatory.
• Experience working with Docker and containerised environments; familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, wrk2) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Knowledge of event‑driven architectures, messaging systems such as Kafka, and observability tools such as Grafana or Kibana is considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Residing in Poland is required.
