QA Automation Engineer – Golang and Playwright

Join Sii Poland as a QA Automation Engineer – Golang and Playwright. Are you passionate about building robust automated testing solutions that support large‑scale, high‑traffic platforms? In this role you will develop efficient, maintainable test automation frameworks and scripts in Golang, work with Playwright for UI testing, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.

Your tasks

• Designing and building automated test scripts and frameworks focusing on REST API quality assurance.
• Conducting thorough functional and non‑functional tests, including performance, security, resilience, and chaos testing scenarios.
• Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable software delivery.
• Defining and implementing quality processes that boost engineering efficiency and product reliability.
• Automating various steps within the software development lifecycle to reduce manual overhead.
• Reviewing and providing feedback on code and test designs to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
• Supporting team growth by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and fostering best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Tester, focused on high‑quality test automation solutions.
• Commercial experience with Golang and Playwright.
• Experience with Docker and containerised environments; familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (Gatling, wrk2) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Knowledge of event‑driven architectures, Kafka, Grafana or Kibana is considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Residing in Poland.
