We are looking for a QA Automation Architect!
In this role, you will define and implement automation frameworks and strategies, driving improvements in the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, efficient automation solutions for .NET-based products. Your expertise will guide the selection of tools, mentoring teams, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

This is a hybrid position based in Krakow or Warsaw, with on-site work required twice a week.

What You'll Do

• Architect and Develop Automation Frameworks: Design and implement robust automation frameworks for testing, deployment, and monitoring of .NET-based products.
• Strategic Planning: Define and drive the long-term automation strategy for the R&D department, aligning it with business and technical objectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate automation seamlessly into the development process.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes and propose automation-driven solutions.
• Tooling and Technology Selection: Evaluate, select, and implement automation tools and technologies to suit business needs.
• Mentorship and Training: Guide teams on best practices for automation, and provide mentorship to build automation capabilities across the department.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that automation frameworks and tools maintain high-quality standards and align with regulatory requirements in the iGaming industry.
• Scalability and Performance: Develop solutions that scale with the growing needs of the product and R&D teams.
• Reporting and Metrics: Establish and maintain KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of automation initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 7+ years in automation and software development, with at least 3 years in an architect or similar senior role. Experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of automation frameworks and tools for testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. Proficiency in .NET technologies is essential.
• Tools and Platforms: Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, SpecFlow, Pactflow and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of functional, integration, performance, and security testing automation.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive collaboration across large teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS/Azure certifications) are a plus.
