responsibilities :
designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks (Cucumber),
developing and scaling test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API services, supporting Tesco’s high-traffic applications.
performing API testing and automation using Postman or Rest Assured (we’ll train you on either if needed),
enhancing and extending our API/Web Service automation frameworks to keep up with evolving product needs,
writing and managing clear test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure traceability and coverage,
execute manual and automated test cases; report, track, and manage defects using Jira.
estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing activities within agile delivery teams,
performing functional and integrationing testing of complex systems, ensuring that all services, components, and integrations work seamlessly,
integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Git, Gradle/Maven, and Jenkins,
participating in sprint ceremonies, product demos, and release reviews, acting as the quality champion in your squad.
requirements-expected :
minimum 6+ years of experience in functional requirement gathering,
6+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium automation using BDD approach,
at least 4+ years of experience working with Cucumber,
6+ years of strong experience in Core Java,
4+ years of experience in API automation, using tools such as Karate and Rest Assured,
minimum 2+ years of experience with Git for version control,
3+ years of experience in automation framework design and implementation,
at least 1+ year of experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle,
1+ year of experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically using Jenkins,
2+ years of experience with Postman for API testing,
2+ years of experience in database testing,
English - at least B2+,
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
